World Book Day

I am looking forward to spending World Book Day at the Chatham Grammar School for boys and Friday 4th at the Richard Atkins Primary School in Brixton.  I’ll be doing talks and workshops at both schools and on Friday I’ll be doing a workshop with parents too which will be great.

Hi Sam,
That’s great!
I’m glad that other children and people will get to read your books.
Sadly, I don’t think we have World Book Day here, all the way down South. To be honest, I’ve never heard it before until now.
Hope you have a great time and finish book 2 as fast as you can. :)

Hi Grace,
It’s lovely to know that Quicksilver is being read and enjoyed in Australia ( I’m guessing that’s what you meant by down South!) but it’s a shame that you don’t have World Book Day there - it’s not much of a World Book Day if it doesn’t cover every country! I’m just correcting the proofs for Serpent’s Gold and it will be out in UK in July. I’ll try to find out when it is coming out in Australia and let you know.
All best

Dear Sam,
I’m glad that you replied. I wasn’t at all sure if you would! My cousin kept telling me that you wouldn’t, but you sure proved him wrong. :)
I’m afraid to say that I don’t live in Australia (SORRY!).
I live on one of the Pacific islands really. I’ve never been confortable with telling people where I live.
So yeah, anyway, I’m glad that you’re almost finished with the 2nd book.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled for it!
Yours truly,

I'd love to hear from you! - Please leave me a comment
