It’s great that you are writing your own book, I would love to read it. I’ve just finished taking part in a three day creative writing workshopt for 240 children in South London and it was amazing helping them to get their ideas down on paper. I’ve been doing a number of book shop signings and talks in schools and I will be doing more when Serpent’s Gold comes out in the Summer so let me know the town where you live and I will tell you if I am going to be in the area. The only advice I can give you about writing is keep at it! Some days you might write a couple of paragraphs you are happy with and some days only a couple of words but it all mounts up. Good Luck with it !

I found Quicksilver in our local school library. I’ve just finished reading it, and I loved it so much I don’t ever want to take it back. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to take it back tomorrow or the library will fine me

I read your book a looooonnggg time ago. I got it from my library and i’ve been going back to get it again ever since. I have now bought the book and its sitting pride of place on my bookshelf with all my other favorite books. I found the book amazing and you’re one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait for your second book!!!!
